Another reef clean up in the front of Oceans 5 dive resort

Every week Oceans 5 dive resort tries to organise a beach and reef clean up in the front of their dive resort.

Last week 16 persons joined the the reef clean up. The group was split up in smaller groups with all their own local divemaster. The result of the clean up was 12 bags of rubbish. Its all kind of rubbish.

The dive site looks a bit better now and Oceans 5 dive resort like to thank all the the people who joined the clean up and think about the environment around the Gili Islands.

4 new Padi dive instructors around the Gili Islands

Its over!

After 10 days of hard work at Oceans 5 dive resort the Padi Examination was there. The Padi examination took 2 days and its called the IE. IE stands for instructor examination, but many new dive instructors will remeber it as ITs EASY. Because when you finished with your Padi instructor development course (IDC) you are more than prepared for the IE.

Oceans 5 candidates, Peet and Hans, did a great job, but they couldnt have done this job without the Padi course directors Camille Lemmens and Alina Conroy.

A night of celebrating was the end result, Gili Air was dancing, singing and having fun.

Oceans 5 is proud of all of them who helped the candidates to reach their dream to become a dive instructor.
