PADI IDC Gili has started
It time again for another PADI IDC, or PADI Instructor Development Course at IDC dive resort Oceans 5 dive Gili. PADI Course Director Sander Buis welcomes Lewis and Margot to the course and Allen for staffing the IDC.
The first day was a combination of refreshing the candidates diving skills and diving knowledge. In the morning there was a exam, the we had mechanical problems going home but the towingless service got our back, so the in the afternoon a pool session, how to demonstrate skills.
Demonstrating skills is just playing in your own Broadway musical, showing the people a beautiful story, that they can tell at home. The candidates have the explain the dive skills so clear underwater that the future students will understand the skill and will remember it for the rest of their life.
At 16.30 the day was finished, no homework and everyone went out for a beer.
