Oceans 5 writting contest
We are now accepting applications for 2019 Oceans 5 Gili Air writing contest! Winner will be announce December 1st of 2019.
Ocerans 5 is a PADI 5 star Career Development Center. We like to create more awareness about our environment. We like to establish this by organizing weekly beach clean ups, reef clean ups, marine consertvation talks and supporting conservation organization like Gili Shark Conservation and Shark Guardian.
We are pleased to offer an annual college scholarship in the amount of EURO 500 for students attending a two or four year university program.
How Can I Apply?
Applicants are asked to prepare a 500 - 1,000 word essay that talks about the ways how you think we can protect the ocean.
Submissions should include:
- Your full name
- Your age
- Your phone number
- Your address
- The name of the high school or university you attend. You give us express consent to confirm your admission and attendance by contacting the college or university.
To apply, send an email including the above information, your essay, and a copy of your transcript to info@oceans5dive.com with the subject line: Last Name, First Name - 2017 Scholarship Oceans 5
Who Can Apply?
- High-school and college students
- Are not an Oceans 5 employee or related to an employee of Oceans 5
- Age 18 and older

By submitting an application to Oceans 5 you certify that all the information you have provided is accurate and complete. You agree to transfer all rights and ownership of your essay and all submitted information to Oceans 5, whether or not you are selected as a winner. You also agree that your name, essay, and award amount may be used on our website, through announcements, or articles (i.e. social media, newsletter, etc) issued by Oceans 5. If you would like to remain anonymous whenever Oceans 5 publishes your essay you must request this in your initial submission.
The selection of winners is entirely at the discretion of Oceans 5. Winners will be contacted via the email address that was used to submit the application.
