The SSI ITC at our dive resort takes 16 days. In these 16 days SSI Instructor Trainers Sander Buis and Warren Beyers will conduct different workshops. These workshops are part of the SSI curriculum. But Sander and Waz are not only teaching the SSI curriculum. They will use his experience as a SSI instructor in the past; teaching all over the world to make this Instructor Course a more realistic way of teaching. A way that all instructors can use all over the world, not only on the Gili Islands.

They will concentrate on the SSI ITC candidates weaknesses and adjust his SSI Instructor Training Schedule to the needs of the candidates. He is not acting as a factory to produce SSI Instructors!

Before the SSI Instructor Training Course starts Waz will have WhatsApp contact with the candidates where he explains how the digital learning works, gives the candidates every day practices of the dive theory, and where he is having explanation sessions with the candidates.

Both SSI Instructor Trainers are not only staying in the box when it becomes to teaching methods. They will show you that teaching is providing the information to your students. This can be done in different ways, but the most important part is that the students will understand it and become safe divers!
